Interactive simulation

Control a Drone With Your Hand.

Experience a new way of interacting with intelligent machines. Use your webcam to explore drone control through natural hand movements.

Interactive simulation — not a real drone deploymentLaunch the simulator

Opens the full-screen simulator. Best on a laptop or desktop with the latest Chrome or Edge.

How it works

Three steps to your first flight

  1. 01

    Take off

Enter the simulator and press Take off. The drone lifts into a steady hover inside a 3D training hangar.

  2. 02

    Turn on your camera

Hold up an open palm and click Calibrate. That relaxed pose becomes your neutral position.

  3. 03

    Fly the challenge

Guide the drone through three glowing gates, then land on the pad. Your best time is remembered on your device.

Natural hand movements

Move your hand. The drone follows.

  • Tip your fingers toward the screenFly forward (tip them back to reverse)
  • Lean your hand left or rightSlide sideways
  • Turn your palm left or rightTurn the drone
  • Raise or lower your handClimb or descend
  • Make a fistHover in place
  • Take your hand awayHover in place automatically

Take-off, landing and the emergency stop are always on-screen buttons — never a hand movement.

What you need

  • A laptop or USB webcam (optional — the keyboard works too)
  • The latest Chrome or Edge
  • Good light and a little space in front of the camera
  • On phones and tablets, fly with the on-screen arrows — hand tracking works best with a laptop or desktop webcam.

Your camera stays on your device

The camera turns on only when you click “Turn on camera”. Video is processed on your device for this simulation. It is not saved or uploaded by ABSIR, and the camera switches off when you leave the simulator.

ABSIR Gesture Flight is a simplified, physics-inspired simulation for demonstration. It is not connected to any real drone or flight controller and does not reproduce real flight-control behavior.
